FROM CHAIRMAN’S DESK

It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction to be a member of the organisation, Nir-Mahal Adventure and Mountaineering Foundation (NAMF).

Before it start its official journey, it had conducted so many successful adventure and mountaineering events as ‘trial run’, such as Trekking, Long Distance Cycling, River Rafting, Kayaking, Rock climbing, Adventure Camps etc. all over its home State, Tripura and able to set itself in a highly appreciable standard platform and its endeavour is going on.

Its objectives are simply concealed in its tagline, “Ignite You, Empower Yourself”. The prime focus is on to give opportunity to the youths in a high standard platform to elevate their physical as well as mental strength through learning various outdoor activities, make a deep connection with the mighty nature which will surly provide them an advantage to be a strong, healthy person, moreover a good human being for his/her society in future.

I once again express my sincere gratitude to this organisation which already had shown its potentiality and moving towards the endless boundary of a dream.

OBJECTIVES OF THE FOUNDATION

• To promote youths, make human resource for future for the society.
• To assists kids and youths for development of their personality, confidence, character and mental robustness through Adventure Activities in the State.
• To develop the spirit of Adventure Sports.
• To take initiatives for growing interest among the kids and the youths of the society for Learning, Acquiring, Advancing the Mountaineering and Adventure Sports.
• To create self-employment opportunity for youths by organizing various outdoor camps, Expeditions etc.
• To act as a coordinating agency for promotion of Adventure and related sports activities towards creating an appropriate base for organizing Adventure Sports at District, State, Regional, National and International levels.
• To grow awareness among the people about the Nature and to protect it by organizing awareness camp and to establish a clean, green and pollution free environment.
• To assist and cooperate with the Government Tourism Department, Non-Governmental Organizations or Sponsoring Agencies in all matters to promote State as a wonderful Tourism Destination.

The date of commencing activity may be differ from scheduled calendar date depending on the weather condition and other situations of that time. The Course Fee may also vary depending on the strength of the participants. We conduct special courses too on demand in a group throughout the year.
